For 10 years already, Dub and Techno have been making sweet love on Acker. While doing so, the conventions of those genres have often been questioned, regularly been ignored, and frequently been re-defined. However, one thing remained over all those years: A focus on the dancefloor, and how to get it going and keep it going. Always with a certain amount of depth, and often aiming at the late hours of a party, old hands and newcomers have been creating the bass-heavy soundtrack for unforgettable hours in which time and space suddenly lost their meaning altogether. In consequence, this anniversary compilation of Acker Dub became an extremely varied selection of tried and tested tunes, each of which providing a historic amount of bang.
