Amal sounds like the colourful graffities and the imaginative timber constructions of urban backyard oases, like the rhythmic rumble of a long distance train on dusty railroad ties, like delicate turrets and serpentine ornaments in the soft-focus light of a waning sandstorm. Combining traditional instruments, digital rhythm technology and the timbre of the human voice in a perfectly natural way, the band Abarra creates spectacularly dynamic and irresistibly danceable moments tinged with lush fantasies of the oriental and occidental world. The remix of Joseph Disco turns this track into a rolling and grinding dancefloor affair, the version of Mollono.Bass boosts the warm melody with a characteristically phat and dubby bass section.
