The interconnectedness of mind and movement is a main interest in the life of Israeli producer Amir Telem, be it in his music studio or his yoga studio. His latest exploration and celebration in this field is the 108 Prayers EP. The title track sends forth shimmering tendrils of melody, building momentum with every beat, until it becomes more than clear that this is a solid banger. The stripped-down remix of Juliane Wolf turns the focus on the driving and hypnotic essence of this tune. Then there's Achuyta, an organic house groover immersing the listener in the warm layers of its string arrangement. DJ and producer veteran Lonya stays close to this vibe, but remixes it from his unique perspective on the dancefloor.
