Weiter: The original version of this tune by Judith van Waterkant and Mere explores the meaning of its title, which translates to something like ‘further’, soaring to ever new heights. The remix of Harro Triptrap takes a different direction and delves further and further in the endlessness that can be found between two beats, between the seconds and minutes ticking by. Reduced to the functional essence, this tool-like version is compelling in a very casual way, similar to a triple shot served on the vibrating bar of a club. The Touchy Mob remix explores the hit potential of Weiter with a cunning series of breakdowns and drops, with the lightness of house and the headiness of spaced-out electronica, with flamboyant sweeps of melody and playful vocal sampling.
