The latest 3000Grad release tells a story that has been written by two creative minds. Each new sentence builds on the last, expands on its pictures and ideas – yet at the same time, each new sentence gives the plot an unexpected, new twist. Nihil Young and Juliane Wolf wrote this story in the universal language of groove, their sentences are frequencies, their words are sounds. It is a love story, set on the dancefloor. The first chapter is titled Glacier. Here, the two producers create an elegant contrast between machine-like, rattling synthesisers, subtle melodies in the background, and the whispered softness of a voice. Unity, the second chapter, presents itself as a catchy vocal track that oscillates around the rousing momentum of pop. Additionally, there's a stripped-back Dub version that puts more weight on the heavy bass and the liquid electronic elements of this tune.

Auf dem neusten 3000Grad Release hören wir eine Geschichte, die von zwei Händen geschrieben wurde. Jeder Satz bezieht sich auf den vorherigen, baut auf seinen Bildern auf – und führt die Erzählung gleichzeitig in eine neue, unerwartete Richtung. Nihil Young und Juliane Wolf schreiben diese Geschichte in der Weltsprache von Groove, ihre Sätze sind Frequenzen, ihre Worte sind Klänge. Es ist eine Liebesgeschichte, die sich auf dem Dancefloor abspielt. Das erste Kapitel heißt Glacier. Hier setzen die beiden maschinell anmutende, ratternde Synthies in eleganten Kontrast zum hintergründig angelegten Melodiespiel und der gehauchten Weichheit einer Stimme. Mit Unity entfaltet sich im zweiten Kapitel eine ausgetüftelte Vocal-Nummer, die sich um poppiges Drehmoment herum bewegt. Die flüssigen elektronischen Elemente und den gesättigten Bass können wir in der Dub Version von Unity zudem in angereicherter Form genießen.
