If you ventured into the festival universe last summer, there’s a good chance you got bounced around by an unusually strong turbulence in the space-time-continuum. In the proximity you could perceive the sacral chanting of some alien culture from the future. Inbetween the mighty gravitational waves there was a whirring sound, very reminiscent of a drum roll, emerging from some sort of complex mechanism that caused a series of seriously consequential events. As it turns out now, this was the tune A New Beginning by Green Lake Project, a production that marks a true quantum leap in the endless journey of the space techno duo. The same goes for Swirl, a hi-tech groove pump that glistens with a thick coating of pulverized trance and that dandles us into a blissful state of utter control loss.
